Ballet

This is an exceptionally graceful and technically demanding form of dance. Ballet is universally recognized as the root style for all other dance forms. This is because you gain an understanding of fundamental concepts such as footwork, balance, timing, turns, flexibility, and core strength.

Hip hop

A very free and raw dance form. Students express themselves through their entire body and posture in response to music. This dance encourages imagination and creativity. It’s ideal for students who want to dance with personality and style to popular music.

Acrobatic dance

This dance style combines strength and flexibility to perform gymnastic-based tricks on stage. Flexibility, balance, strength, and coordination are all improved through tuition. Our acro dance instructors are Acrobatic Arts certified, and our classes adhere to the Acrobatic Arts syllabus.

Salsa

Salsa is a dance and musical style with a deep Caribbean and African roots. It is an energetic, fun loaded and inclusive dance form that helps to develop social skills. Salsa comes in various forms such as Cuban Style, Ballroom style and many more.

Contemporary

A style of expressive dance which combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and ballet. This class uses a greater range of body movements. Improvisation is integrated into this class.

African Dance and drumming

This activity maintains and sustains the African identity in our students. Following drumming pattern improves students sensory-motor skills, memory, focus and concentration.

Musical theatre

This class combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and Students work on songs from stage and music from musicals. They practice public speaking and do presentations with emphasis on effective communication. Students in musical theatre class gain real life skills through acting, flexibility, listening, teamwork and confidence.

Jazz

This is a diverse and energetic dance style in which the creativity and expressiveness of the dancers are promoted. It refers to modern style that combines ballet technique with elements of contemporary and African-derived dances. Typical elements of jazz dance are isolation movements, precise leg, arm and foot movements, jumping techniques and twists.
